The Science Discovery Lab is a hands on science lab that encourages students to investigate and explore the world of science. The space is equipped with many adapted low and high-tech tools that provide the students with greater access and independence to perform experiments. A height adjustable lab table gives students a flexible workspace to accommodate the various heights of standing and sitting equipment that they may utilize when they are in the lab. There are several stations in the lab that are available for the students to explore when they are not directly involved in a lesson. These stations include the magnetic wall, discovery bottle collection, magnetic building tools and the science non-fiction library. Throughout the year, the students have the opportunity to observe living things such as fish, hermit crabs, ladybugs, ants, and butterflies.
