Middle school students  are participating in a Project Based Learning Experience to understand the reasons for Westward Expansion. The students have been tasked with creating an advertisement or brochure to encourage the settlers of Virginia to move westward. Students have been researching economic, transportation and geographic factors through multi-sensory lessons in the MILE Lab.
